ISOLATOR INFORMATION: LAST Up-Dated < 101013 >
The REAR ISOLATORS that came OEM on my BUELL did not last a long time(early ones
less than 40K, which were off the FL/FX Platforms) ...
The last up-dated rear isolators PN's L0504.9R and L0505.9L will stand the test and last ...
The FRONT Isolator is the weak link ...
IMHO you have to install it correct and properly or the weaker FRONT ISOLATORS
will self destruct ...
The FRONT ISOLATOR needs to be up dated to the HARLEY-DAVIDSON Big Twin fornt
motor isolator PN 16207-79D or the Drag Specialities isolator PN DS-243609 ...
The PROBLEM with the SHORT LIFE of these -79C or older isolators is the Big Twin
Engine RESTS on "AND" the BUELL HANGS from it ...
The reason the ISOLATOR has been up dated to the -79D is the when the Big Twin
engines were increased to 105 Cubic Inches they will rip the ISOLATOR apart just as the
the BUELL's have been doing all along ...
